ReplayVOD is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch Interactive, Inc.
"Twitch" and the Twitch logo are trademarks of Twitch Interactive, Inc. References to Twitch on this site, in our documentation, and in our open-source code are nominative — they identify the platform our software is designed to interoperate with — and do not imply any endorsement, sponsorship, or business relationship.
How we interact with Twitch
The self-hosted ReplayVOD application uses the public Twitch Helix API and EventSub webhooks. To use ReplayVOD with Twitch, you must register your own Twitch developer application at dev.twitch.tv and accept the Twitch Developer Services Agreement. We are not your Twitch developer; you are.
How Connect interacts with Twitch
Our paid Connect service is a generic webhook relay. It does not hold a Twitch developer application, does not authenticate to Twitch, and is not a Twitch API integration. It forwards HTTP request bytes from a public URL to a long-lived WebSocket without inspecting their contents. The webhook delivery you configure in Twitch's developer console points at the public URL we provide; the bytes Twitch sends are forwarded verbatim to your self-hosted instance, which performs the HMAC verification using your own EventSub secret.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Twitch API and of any Twitch-derived data complies with the Twitch Developer Services Agreement and Twitch's Terms of Service. We make no representation that Connect or ReplayVOD is approved by Twitch.
